Fotofest Exhibit “Intimate Cartography” at the Peter Brown Gallery. Two of my flower images were selected for this show that opened in Winter 2016 and continued on through 2017. They are both large (30″ x 40″) and are printed on metal. The show highlights the diverse ways photography can “trace the ephemeral quality of places, nature, people and our visual experiences,” according to organizers. Juried by Houston artists Bevin Bering Dubrowski and Libbie Masterson.
Floral Landscapes (2013) is a compilation of my macro photographs of flowers.
In 2013 the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston asked to review my work and then
requested a number of my images for their permanent collection. This book can now
be found at the Hirsch Library of the MFAH and at the link above.
In the Winter of 2014, my work will be featured in a one-person show at the Women’s Institute of Houston and is scheduled to run from January until May, 2014. It will feature images from Floral Landscapes. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
